Hi, i plan to study Bachelor of Finance at Australian National University, however i have to choose to major in either of "corporate finance and investment management" or "quantitative finance". From what i udnerstand, corporate finance is more theoritical and has to do with business financing while quantitative finance has to do with math. could someone tell me more about both subjects? what kind of job can you get after studying each of these?
FYI I have a very strong mathematical background but i dont like computer programing. I did very well (not bragging) in all the other subjects in highschool as well. I do have interest in math but i want to study somehting that would help me secure a gd job. what do you suggest?

Hi, I would like to know what fields of finance allow me to work by myself. I want to be my own boss. I don’t want to work for no one because I constantly get fired from any job. I was thinking of opening my own insurance company or probably sell insurance and work by commission. Please advice me and let me know what the possibilities are.
Thanks!!

I will be graduating in about a year with double major in accounting and finance, which will give me 150 credits to sit for the CPA. How should i handle the CPA. Should i study for it right after getting my degree, or should i look for a job first. And how long should i study for each part, will i be finished with my CPA within a year. I also want to get a MBA sometime in the future. Thanks in advance.
