I am a student who is in his Junior year at NC A&T State University. I am majoring in Computer Science. I am confused on what should I do for further studies. I have a GPA of 3.4/4.0 and am on Dean’s List. In Comp Sci if i do masters then I was thinking about Networking and Security.

note: i’m going for my MBA right after finishing undergrad, i will have high gpa but my major is labor studies (which is more about human resources, etc)

I live in central Texas and have just completed my Freshman year of College at Austin Comm. College. I applied to Texas’ prestigious McCombs business school to study finance and was, once again; denied. My goal is to eventually transfer to UT, but if I never get in (I will try again for Spring and Fall 2012) I would like to have some of the "college experience" offered by these 4 year schools. I know Baylor is rather expensive, but I should get enough aid to make it the same cost as the other two. Has anyone attended any of these schools? Anything to know? I have friends at both Tech and TX State, and both groups seem to like their respective schools, but they don’t really have any details to share. One thing that concerns me about Baylor is religious focus of the school. While I was raised Baptist (and therefore more likely to get aid) I do not really identify with Baptist principles (I have adopted a sort of Lassiez-Faire attitude towards religion, I go to church for Easter and Christmas, but that’s about the extent of it, it seems most of my peers are the same way). I am assured admission in Tech’s or State’s honors program because of my GPA, and feel that would allow me to have part of the atmosphere I like (productive, ambitious students my age, as opposed to the commuting adults and high school screw-ups at Austin CC). Again, I would like to transfer to UT in the future, but if that never happens, what school would look best on a resume? And if I do succeed in transferring, what school is more compatible?

Hello I’m a Black 15 year old from a middle class family.I’m in the 9th grade with a 3.8 gpa and i want to be successful in life.I’m highly motivated,The college that i plan to go to is Boston College,also i want to study Accounting and Finance and soon get a bachelors in Accountancy and a MBA in Finance and soon take the CPA Exam.But my question is what kind of Financial jobs do rich men have,also does saving money make someone rich??

Okay, I am an international business major with a concentration in finance and german. Next fall I am supposed to go germany as part of my program.

I have to write a 1 page "letter of intent" on why I want to studying aboard and working (a 4 month internship follows the semester) in Germany. I don’t have any personal reasons for wanting to do this. My parents made me take the language class because they felt I was forgetting the roots of my family (they are from germany) and stuff like that. If they were going to pay for college, then I was going to learn.

That being said, I dont mind studying abroad. maybe it will cool, i don’t know. Anyways I need a place to start this essay, I DONT need someone to write it. The ideas don’t have to be good; my GPA is far above the requirement, so i really just need to fill space.

I brainstromed writing about how new world perspectives will allow me to add new ideas and prespective to a workplace (at my future job).
I also thought about talking about something like the world is to big to only know one place. even though I will probably never work or live out the USA.
