I am majoring in economics and I gave a particular interest in its financial and business aspects as well as in interest in almost every form of science. I would like to be an economic analyst that specializes in product and resource markets as well as how many of those sources are available globally (for example, using measurements of oil S & D and its expectations to determine where the market’s headed).
The school I plan on transferring to offers a minor in geology/ earth sciences, but not in finance. Both studies are available for a dual major, of which finance would be more convinient because some of the accounting and finance credits count towards both degrees.
Should I minor in geology or dual major in Finance? Would environmental science or any others be a better option as well?
Actually I am deciding between an econ major and geo minor or a dual major in econ and either geo or finance.
Im from missouri and was wanted to know if it would be worth it to go the the University of hawaii for economics/finance. Basically i want to study the market. Does the school have a good program? Also what is the best way to find a roommate? And how do i go about finding an apartment with a room mate.
I just finished my studies in industrial engineering with finance and economics orientation and have no work experience. I’m interested in a career in finance but really don’t know what to do: go right now for a MSc Finance or work for 2/3 years and then go for the MBA. What should you recommend me?
In addition, is there any MBA program that I can apply to without previous work experience?
I am going to a decent 4-year college next year and I am not sure on what to major in. As for majors – I am looking at Accounting and Finance. Then for a minor, I was looking at Accounting, Economics, and Finance. Which major/minor combo would get me the farthest? I would like to have a Wall Street-type job someday or work for the Federal Reserve Bank or something. What major/minor would you suggest out of those given subjects?
