My son is 17 and will be attending a college in the UK in spet 09 what money is available to him as grants loans EMA etc? we are a single parent household on benefits in ireland.

I wondered if anyone could tell me what kind of finances I will be eligable for and a rough idea of what I will be living on. Please give me some rough figures as I am really worried I won’t be able to survive!!!

Ive been given conditional offers in London Metropolitan and UEL but i want to know whats the best in london.

Also is it true London Metro is a crap uni?

I am an International student who is going to study Master of Finance in US. I have searched for Courses, Universities but I didn’t finalize my decision. On the other hand, it is important to select the right state/ City or town.

Since I have no Idea about that, Would you please recommend the states which can be suitable for international students in terms of: cost of living, entertainment, safety, transportation, services and facilities…etc

Also I would like to have some recommendations for universities.

Thank you :)

Double Major in art and finance.?

Art has always been my passion and I can draw professionally ( realistic drawings) but always wanted to study the art of Finance.
Do you guys know anyone who has chosen this combination? I plan on having a career in Finance, but also working as an artist in my spare time because basically I wouldn’t be able to survive without drawing. If you guys do know anyone who has tried this, do you know how many years it would take to complete this?
