Art has always been my passion and I can draw professionally ( realistic drawings) but always wanted to study the art of Finance.
Do you guys know anyone who has chosen this combination? I plan on having a career in Finance, but also working as an artist in my spare time because basically I wouldn’t be able to survive without drawing. If you guys do know anyone who has tried this, do you know how many years it would take to complete this?

I have great desire to continue study in the UK. So far I have not found a sponsor. Whom do I apply to?

I’m applying to study a Foundation in Styling and Photography at the London College of Fashion in Sep 2009.
I’m 17, have a good job (earn close to £500 a month), and I’m completing a BTEC National Diploma in Art & Design.

What are my chances of getting in?

I’m awful with money, and haven’t saved a penny yet (oops!).
I’m in a single-parent family (parent doesn’t earn much at all…. definitely below the average), living in an ex-council house in N.Ireland. I don’t know if I can afford to follow my dream and go to the best fashion college in the UK.

What sort of loan would I be able to get? Any other money sources? How do I find accommodation? (Zone 1 or 2 ideally)

It’s really starting to upset me, I have no parental support, Mum thinks my ideas are ridiculous…. She keeps claiming I will never afford it, and I shouldn’t bother….
